Introduction to Judaism is an engaging 16-session virtual course for anyone interested in exploring Jewish life through a Reform lens.
Open to all, this course is perfect for interfaith couples, those raising Jewish children, spiritual seekers, individuals considering conversion, and Jews who want a meaningful adult Jewish learning experience.
Topics include Jewish holidays, life cycle celebrations, theology and core beliefs, Hebrew, prayer, the Bible and other sacred texts, history, the Holocaust, modern Israel, the American Jewish experience, and the tapestry of the Jewish people today.
Rabbis, cantors, and educators from local Reform congregations teach this in-depth course. Outstanding and experienced faculty encourage students to raise questions and engage deeply and personally with all topics.
The 16-week virtual course is offered two times per year, in the Spring and the Fall.
