Familiarity with Hebrew can be a key to feeling at home in the Jewish community. Learn the shapes and sounds of the Hebrew alphabet, with a warm and supportive educator to guide you and a group of classmates for practicing together. Recognize and understand common Hebrew

This class will be held in-person at Temple Solel and taught by a rotation of clergy from the 4 Reform Jewish congregations of North Phoenix. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn from the rabbis of all 4 congregations.

Open to all, this 18-week course, taught by Rabbi Melissa Lefkowitz, is designed for those looking to understand the basics of Judaism. 

This includes interfaith couples, those raising Jewish children, spiritual seekers, individuals considering conversion, and Jews who want a meaningful adult Jewish learning experience. Wherever you are on your journey

Introduction to Judaism is an engaging multi-session course for anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of Jewish life. Discover what could be meaningful to you in progressive Judaism.
